    Truth! I have just learned I have degenerative discs in my spine and I bet you anything the flare up occurred because my practice has lapsed considerably from the 3 or more times a week to 1-2 times a week, plus difficult manual labor job, plus LOTS of fun stress. But yoga along with massage and gentle chiropractic, is getting functional and mostly pain-free. I still have to be super careful about alignment, and I can’t do what I used to do right now (or maybe ever, I dunno)–but yoga, again, is teaching me that that’s okay. It’s part of the ebb and flow of life. Thanks for this.
